We depart this morning from the Baptist Healthplex in Clinton, MS and enjoy complimentary muffins and coffee, as we begin our exciting holiday feature tour to the unforgettable Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN. “A Country Christmas” has become one of the most popular holiday traditions, and we are certain to get into the spirit of the season. After a lunch stop on our own in Hoover, Alabama, we arrive at the hotel late afternoon with time to settle into our rooms and freshen up before tonight’s entertainment. This five-star hotel is transformed each year into a holiday wonderland ablaze with decorations, ribbons, countless evergreens, poinsettias, and over two million lights! After time to freshen up, we depart the hotel for a delicious catfish and chicken dinner included at Cock of the Walk restaurant. Following dinner, we have reserved seats for the special Radio City Christmas Spectacular! With the famous New York City Rockettes, beautiful staging, and memorable music, this show will be a wonderful beginning to our tour! After the show, we return to the Opryland Hotel and enjoy the “Christmas Wonderland” all around! What a wonderful first day on our Country Christmas tour! (B,D)

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2014 -

This morning our bus will take us to Cracker Barrel Restaurant to enjoy a hot breakfast, included in our tour. Following Breakfast we return to downtown for a tour of the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum. Here we learn the story of country music and the rich history we share with a truly American experience. Today we will enjoy a delicious lunch buffet included at the Wild Horse Saloon off Broadway, and we can kick up our heels with some line dancing lessons! This afternoon, you have the choice to explore and relax at the Opryland Hotel, or enjoy a few hours of shopping at Opry Mills, Tennessee’s premier retail destination – where they have a store and item for every taste at Christmas. Later this evening, we will transfer to downtown Nashville for dinner at Old Spaghetti Factory Restaurant! Enjoy your choice of entrée in this historic building in the heart of downtown! After our dinner, we will make the short transfer to the “Mother Church” of Country Music – the Grand Ole Opry at the Historic Ryman Auditorium! Our group will have reserved seats as we enjoy performances from today’s hottest stars as well as some Nashville Legends at this American Institution. We will head back to the Opryland Hotel following the Opry.

An exciting day today as we enjoy a hot breakfast together at Cracker Barrel included in our tour. Following breakfast, we will pick up our local city guide and enjoy a guided city tour of Nashville to view some of the famous country music stars’ homes, the downtown area, studio row, the Parthenon, and many other points of interest. We will have time for a lunch stop on our own after our morning tour. This afternoon, we will enjoy the ICE Exhibit, featuring bigger than life blocks of ice, transformed into some of our beloved favorite Christmas characters. We will have time to visit the “Treasures for the Holidays” arts and crafts, the “Hall of Trees” exhibit, and see the Delta Flatboat! All of these wonderful attractions are located inside the Opryland Hotel. After some time to relax at the hotel, we will meet in our Delta Lobby and walk together to the Ryman Ballroom for our final show – the Opryland Christmas Show featuring “Restless Heart!” Our group will enjoy an elegant Southern dinner served family style and then enjoy a memorable Christmas show headlined by one of the most popular up and coming groups on the Nashville scene! We will hear some Country favorites and new songs, plus many of our Christmas favorites! We will all walk back to our rooms following the performance.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2014 -

This morning, we will check out of the hotel and load our motorcoach. We have a final treat in store as we head to Nashville’s favorite breakfast stop for a half century -- the historic “Loveless Café” – famous for their country ham and homemade biscuits. The Loveless has been a favorite for Country Legends like Loretta Lynn and George Jones, and our group will enjoy a full breakfast included this morning. After breakfast, we bid farewell to Nashville as we depart for home. Leaving the Volunteer State, enjoy the drive through the rolling hills of North Alabama to Hoover where we make a lunch stop at the Galleria.
